Ian Worley says - In 1977 I joined the crew of the 78ft maxi racing yacht Great Britain II, as a watch Leader, later promoted to 1st Mate. We raced furiously around the world, via the notorious Cape Horn, encountering many storms, icebergs, damage to the boat, injuries and a lightning strike. Throughout, I filmed for the BBC sports programme GRANDSTAND. My talk carries the audience along on a crazy ride in huge seas and includes amusing anecdotes which brings the story to life.
